Park Hyatt’s Executive Assistant Manager and Director of Food and Beverage Nizar Weshah and Director of Sales Asif Raza conducted the guests around the property on the South Corniche, which is described as an oasis of contemporary luxury.

The five-star property has a prime location within the Al-Hamra district overlooking the Equestrian Club and a short drive from the city’s central business district.

The hotel boasts 142 guest rooms, including 15 suites.

“We’ve luxuriously appointed rooms with exclusive home comforts, such as flat screen television,” Weshah said, adding that the hotel also has rooms with special facilities for disabled guests.

Speaking about restaurant facilities, he said The Lounge offers all-day dining, Nafoura presents Mediterranean cuisine and Andalusia serves family buffet featuring Moorish cuisine.

Al-Sohba is a social club for men featuring a private Majlis, a projection room, as well as five boardrooms and an outdoor venue by the sea for up to 300 persons. Dardasha offers a dining experience within Evania Ladies’ Spa offering traditional Middle Eastern and international cuisine, and Nadara is a tea and juice lounge located at the Gentlemen’s Seba Sports and Wellness Center.

“It’s an elegant property with excellent facilities,” Japanese Consul General Toshimitsu Ishigure, who is also Asian Consuls General Club’s coordinator.

US Consul General Thomas M. Duffy and Korean Consul General Han Dal-jun were among the other guests present.
