- ISLAMABAD: The second plane carrying Saudi Arabian relief assistance to flood victims in Pakistan arrived in the city of Quetta on Thursday.
- The relief material was sent at the orders of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, Saudi Ambassador Abdul Aziz Al-Ghadeer said.
In another development the Saudi Arabian embassy in Pakistan handed 150 tons of dates to the government of Pakistan for distribution to the flood victims in various parts of the country. Those who attended the handing over included Saudi Embassy representative Saleh Al-Mugheeri, and representative of the Saudi Ministry of Finance Muhammad Al-Haqabani and director of relief to flood victims in Pakistan Abdul Hamid Balgari.
