The presidency aims to make the visit and worship at the mosque most comfortable to the faithful.

As part of its activities the presidency completed a training program for the workers in the mosque on the courteous and helpful treatment of pilgrims.

The presidency has started implementing various plans, such as increasing the number of people employed to serve pilgrims. There are also elaborate arrangements to conduct lectures, issue fatwas, and distribute booklets to the visitors on how to conduct themselves inside the holy precincts.

Steps have also been taken to record religious classes, speeches and recitations by local imams. More copies of the Holy Qur’an and its translations and commentaries have also been made available at various locations in the mosque.

The presidency’s plans for the month also include increasing access to Zamzam water with more drums put at different places.

More inspectors have been appointed to supervise the activities in the mosque and surrounding areas while additional staff of both sexes have been posted to keep all the gates of the mosque open during the month.

In view of the summer heat, more workers have been deployed for the operation and maintenance of air-conditioners inside the mosque and the courtyard shades. More carpets have been spread inside the mosques and people have been hired to keep them clean.

The mosque library will be open to serve both men and women visitors.

Workers are employed to ensure the smooth flow of visitors in the passageways inside the mosque and the courtyards.

Efforts have also been made to ensure an adequate supply of wheelchairs for the aged and people with special needs.

Arrangements have also been made to extend the time allowed for the visit of the Rawdah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) by women.

There are special plans in place to receive state guests and delegations from schools and universities. There are also many supervisors to guarantee that all services are progressing without hindrance.
