- DAMBULLA, Sri Lanka: New Zealand seamers have rattled India after Ross Taylor and Scott Styris smashed half-centuries to win the tri-series opener by a massive 200 runs.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss New Zealand reached 288 before being bowled out by India in 48.5 overs on Tuesday.
Daryl Tuffey took three wickets for 34 to bundle India out for 88 runs in 29.3 overs.
Taylor, the New Zealand captain made 95 off 113 balls and hit eight fours and a six.
Styris made 89 with nine boundaries and a six and also featured in a productive run-a-ball, 190-run fourth wicket stand with his captain.
