The case was filed by two sisters who were in dispute over the ownership of a house in the city. A lawyer representing the case was waiting for a ruling to be delivered when one of the sisters received a court summons asking her to attend a hearing with a different judge.

When the lawyer representing that sister went to the judge and explained to him that the case is already being reviewed by another judge, the second judge issued a decision to put the case on hold.

Nevertheless, by that time, the first judge had issued an eviction order against the sister who had been summoned by the second judge. Her lawyer, however, objected to the judge’s decision, saying that there was confusion and that two judges are reviewing the same case, which is bizarre. The head of the general court in Makkah was unavaible for comment.
