The minister thanked the employee for his noble gesture. He emphasized the ministry’s determination to stamp out corruption. Al-Faeem had informed Dr. Khaled Al-Shibani, director of the hospital, about the huge bribe offered by the medical company.

In a recent report, the Control and Investigation Board said it had found 6,800 cases of administrative corruption involving government officials in a single year. They include 5,629 forgery cases, 848 bribery cases, 101 cases involving misuse of power and 64 embezzlement cases.
