He also said the council will discuss other issues, including the development of the historic area in old Jeddah and complaints from residents of Al-Ajaweed district about underground leaks.

The chairman said at the end of its 70th session, members of the council will have an iftar party at Beit Naseef in the historic area in recognition of its importance.

Baaqeel did not reveal the size of the budget, but said the projects will be in the fields of water, transport, flyovers, tunnels, parks., green areas and others.
