- JEDDAH: Three criminals who opened fire in an alley in Riyadh on the correspondent of the Kuwaiti Al-Rai newspaper and his friend about a month ago have been caught, the Riyadh police announced on Tuesday.
The police did not reveal the nationalities of the suspects nor when or where they were nabbed but they said the men were caught after a manhunt. The police said they acted on very meager information that did not exceed the brand and color of their car.
“The suspects were hiding in a housing campus and the car and the gun they used in the attack were seized,” the police said.
The correspondent and his Egyptian friend sustained slight injuries in the incident. The police said the three suspects were being investigated to learn the reasons for their attack against the correspondent.
