- JEDDAH: Majeb bin Abdullah Al-Kasabi has been appointed adviser at the court of Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation.
- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah made the appointment by issuing a royal decree.
Al-Kasabi holds a doctorate degree in engineering from an American university. He has worked as a lecturer at King Abdulaziz University and secretary-general of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).
Al-Kasabi is a member of the JCCI's current board of directors as he was appointed by the minister of commerce and industry. He hails from a well-known business family in the Kingdom.
