- RIYADH: As part the Ministry of Education’s efforts to guarantee the safety of school students, Deputy Education Minister Faisal bin Abdul Rahman Muammar issued a circular to all the private schools in the Kingdom that no school bus should be older than 10 years since manufacturing date, Al-Madinah daily newspaper reported on Friday.
Traffic police recently observed that most of the school buses used by private schools were very old and could not ensure safety to passengers.
