Omar Kassar scored the winning goal for Saudi Arabia, which won the cup for the second straight time. Saudi Arabia's Ahmed Al-Rushaidy and Majed Al-Dossary were picked the best goalkeeper and player respectively in the championship.

Saturday's match was a repeat of the previous World Cup that was held in Germany when the Kingdom beat the Dutch team in a penalty shootout after they drew (4-4).
