- JUBAIL: Police arrested a Saudi man at a checkpoint in Jubail for trying to smuggle housemaids, a local newspaper reported.
- The man was apprehended at the checkpoint after a policeman became suspicious.
When asked who the woman accompanying him was, the man said she was his wife. However, after further questioning it was found that the woman had run away from Al-Ahsa and was headed to Jubail to work for a family there. The man was taken into police custody for further questioning.
