- RIYADH: The Saudi British Bank (SABB) has appointed Majed Najm as the general manager of personal financial services.
- Majed has taken up his position assuming full responsibility for the entire personal financial services business in SABB.
Majed has returned to SABB after he served over 3 years of secondment with HSBC Group, SABB’s global partner during which he held the position of the head of International Bank Middle East responsible for 11 Middle East countries. Earlier he held the position of the chief executive officer of HSBC Bahrain.
Majed assumes new responsibilities in SABB with a wealth of 18 years of experience gained mainly from working on senior levels of management and leadership covering a variety of personal financial services business in both SABB and HSBC.
He joined SABB in 1992 and served in various capacities including; Head of Marketing, Senior Executive Strategic Plan Implementation, Senior Manager Branch Network — Central Province and Senior Manager Personal Financial Services Development.
Commenting on Majed’s appointment, David Dew, SABB managing director said: “I am delighted to welcome Majed back to SABB after a very successful secondment posting to HSBC.
