- Brennan, assistant to the US president and deputy national security adviser for homeland security and counterterrorism, at his palace in Jeddah on Sunday.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, King Abdullah and Brennan discussed issues of mutual concern.
The talks were attended by Prince Muqrin, director of intelligence, and Prince Muhammad bin Naif, assistant interior minister for security affairs.
Earlier, King Abdullah received Prince Hisham bin Abdullah bin Muhammad V at his Jeddah palace.
