According to Regional Manager Abdul Basheer, Ministry of Interior’s Lt. Gen. Mehvee Al-Qahtani will open the celebrations at 10:30 a.m. On the sidelines will be an Arabic food festival where 15 different varieties of “kabsa” will be displayed. The main attraction of the celebrations will be the performance by an Arab musical band between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

During the day, there will be a quiz competition for children below the age of 12 on the history and civilization of Saudi Arabia. The closing ceremony will take place at 9.30 p.m. where prizes will be distributed to winners of various competitions.
