In a communication to the Philippine Embassy, the Foreign Ministry said that all diplomatic and consular missions accredited to Saudi Arabia could participate in the contest in accordance with the rules and conditions set by the organizers.

Carrying the theme of "My Cities…after 50 Years," the competition is open to boys and girls aged six to 18 from all over the world.

The drawings will be judged by the organizers, with prizes including gold, silver and bronze medals for the winners.

Drawings should adhere to the criteria of the contest without help from teachers or parents and guardians, and each participant should record the following information in English at the back of the painting or drawing - name and surname, country or city, school name and telephone number, class or grade, date of birth, nationality, postal address, email and description.

The drawing or painting should not be on a canvas or paper of less than 25 x 35 cm. The entries, which can be on paper of any color, should not have been entered in any other contest and should be received by organizers by Dec. 31, 2010.

All entries, which will become the property of the contest, should be packed and sealed and sent to:

The results will be announced in April 2011 and the winners by post or telephone.
