Al-Anqari said the Sports Union will work on determining bylaws and regulations, organizing sports activities and unifying standards of sports at Saudi universities in accordance to the Kingdom's values.Deputy Minister for Higher Education Dr. Ali Al-Atiyyah said the union will encourage competition in a healthy academic and competitive environment. He added that the union will bring extra-curricular activities into the Kingdom’s universities and encourage sporting excellence.
