- RIYADH: The Kingdom's first official international magazine on business, investment and leisure — FindMe in Saudi — will be published soon, according to Prince Sultan bin Salman, president and chairman of the board of directors of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA).
“The magazine, to be published annually, will have 150 pages of comprehensive information and promotion on the new and fresh image of Saudi Arabia,” Prince Sultan said in a statement issued on Thursday.
“The concept of FindMe in Saudi has been created to trigger the emotions of the readers and aims to rediscover the country and promote investment opportunities internationally with a sophisticated business approach.”
Prince Sultan said the magazine aims to give national investors all necessary information at their fingertips and will serve to firmly position and reinforce the Kingdom as an investment destination.
FindMe in Saudi will also portray the culture and traditions of Saudi Arabia with a special feature on heritage as well as the importance given to tourism, health and education.
To be published in English and Arabic, the magazine will be distributed both locally and internationally, and is expected to reach over 500,000 readers and over 1 million people through the website.
“FindMe in Saudi will convey what the country in all its geographical extension has to offer within the pages of a single and appealing publication, providing an illustrative and authoritative source of information for investors, businessmen and travelers,” Prince Sultan said.
The magazine is still in its production stage and will be launched at the Faisaliah Hotel early next year. The SCTA has commissioned the international consultancy firm Global Gulf Consulting (GGC) to publish the magazine.
GGC is an integrated communications and consultancy firm specialized in helping governments, corporations and institutions to penetrate a given market and support them through the whole process of developing their products and implementing ideas and communications strategies.
