Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed on Saturday launched a campaign to create awareness about not throwing garbage from cars.
He urged the public to stop the bad habit in order to keep the city tidy and protect its healthy environment.
The traffic police in the Kingdom have taken note of 16,000 cases of people throwing garbage from cars this year, with 7,000 cases involving expatriates.
