- JEDDAH: No man should suffer such a loss, especially at the hands of those who have taken the oath of “first, do no harm.”
The local media reported on Wednesday that a medical committee in Jeddah cleared a private hospital of the accusation it cost a man in his 40s a testicle after another hospital allegedly misdiagnosed the treatment for an achy joint. The second hospital staff determined that the treatment administered by the first hospital led to an infection of one testicle. The doctors said they had to remove the organ before it spread to the other testicle. Neither hospital was named in the reports, nor was the condition or treatment that led to such a serious inflammation.
