The medal is the fourth-highest civilian honor given by the government of Pakistan to its nationals every year on  March 23 (National Day).

The guests at the event included Consul General of Turkey Salih Mutlu Sen, Arab News Editor in Chief Khaled Almaeena, Link Officer and Consul CA Qamar Siddique Raja and Jinne Baker, the previous headmistress of the school.

The program started with the recitation from the Holy Qur'an followed by speeches by school coordinators and administration staff appreciating Kamran's efforts and inspiring leadership that has taken the school to immense heights.

"When I was the headmistress of the school the best thing I did was to appoint this wonderful lady and then became sure that she's the only person capable of heading and leading the school and I was not wrong. I have witnessed the school has flourished and has emerged as one of the leading schools in the Gulf," Baker said.

Almaeena also appreciated the efforts of Kamran and the splendid role she played in uplifting the school.

"Saudi Arabia has undergone vast changes and though at times the reforms made by foreigners are not much spoken about, we do acknowledge these efforts. I wish Mrs Kamran good luck in her future endeavors," he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamran said, "I have been on this podium acknowledging and celebrating the glorious accomplishments and achievements of my students. Today is a high personal moment. I am here to celebrate the great honor that I have received."

She said that Tamgha-e-Imtiaz is not only a medal; it is a great prestige that she will cherish throughout her lifetime.

"Let me say with pride, that the love for my country and true patriotic feelings have molded into this medal. Receiving the medal is not the end but a beginning of many things, it is to accept more responsibility while also reaffirming commitment, more dedication and devotion to our role as educators," she said.

"I am grateful that my contributions for my beloved homeland and in the field of education have been acknowledged by the president of Pakistan," she added

"When I declined monetary benefits and tempting positions I never thought that I am gaining anything else except my own satisfaction. Today I realize it didn't go unacknowledged, materials are temporary but this honor will stay forever. I am fortunate to have a platform that has provided me opportunities to serve my country. The flag of Pakistan flying here revives my commitment," she said.

"No success is possible without support and sincerity. I am again very fortunate to have a devoted team, my staff members who never denied my call and stood with me when I needed them; I appreciate my team and their commendable work," she added.

Kamran acknowledged the support and inspiring guidance of former Link Officer Akmal Saeed, who provided her with opportunities to move forward, supported her endeavors and guided her in hard times. She added, "she is fortunate to have in Qamar Siddique Raja, another Link Officer of similar caliber ready to extend support at all times.

Kamran also acknowledged the encouraging guidance of Arab News Editor in Chief Khaled Almaeena, Managing Editor of Urdu News Tariq Mishkhas and Consul General of Turkey Salih Mutlu Sen.
