Forty-four leading companies are attending the event, which was attended by over 300 people on Tuesday. The event is being held with the support of Princess Lolowah Al-Faisal, vice chairperson of the university’s Board of Trustees and its general supervisor.

Said Baaghil, a brand marketing strategy consultant and leading author on marketing, and Omar Shabaan, founder and managing partner of Bridges Bookstores, delivered speeches on the first day of the event.

In his speech, Baaghil presented a theory from his book “The Power of Belonging,” which discusses his 20 years of marketing experience in the Middle East.

One of the event’s highlights on Tuesday was the discussion between the speakers and the audience on the topic of job opportunities being available but job seekers having to look hard to find them.

Baaghil also spoke about the role of women in the job market and in society.
