- JEDDAH: The unexpected visit of a huge desert lizard at a restaurant caused uproar among diners and waiters and made them run for the street in the city of Al-Rass located in Qassim province on Thursday.
According to Al-Riyadh daily, the three-kilogram reptile escaped from the wheelbarrow of a passing by cleaning laborer, who had caught the reptile at an old cemetery. However, the laborer, who had hoped the lizard would fetch a good price, caught it again. He later sold it to a Saudi for SR30.
