Al-Fahd said this was the fourth time this year that rumors had claimed she had died. “Fans who were worried about my health also contributed to the spread of the rumor,” she said.

Al-Fahd said she received thousands of calls and text messages on her mobile from fans and all over the world. She said one of the fans wrote to her with the message, “Please do not die. We love you.” Al-Fahd was deeply touched by the love and concern expressed by her fans and said she did not know who was behind the rumor.

“The people who circulated the rumor were sick. I appeal to them to leave me alone and not to hurt others through their sick actions.”
