- TAIF: Shortly after closing the case of the four-year-old boy who was allegedly killed by his stepmother in Taif, another case has emerged involving a 14-year-old boy who went missing from a local mosque's Qur'an memorization summer program in the city, Al-Watan newspaper reported on Friday.
People from Al-Sharqiya neighborhood organized search teams to look for the missing boy.
The father of the boy, Abdullah Al-Sufyani, said that there has been no sign of him since Saturday.
After the Qur'an-reading session ended, the boy left the mosque with his friends but he did not make it home.
"My son never used to be late," the father told the paper.
"He has never visited his relatives without first informing the family. I request anyone with information related to the disappearance of my son to contact the family."
