- CAIRO: Egyptian actress Afaf Shuaib has left intensive care unit after her blood pressure stabilized.
- Shuaib was admitted to Al-Salam International Hospital, south of Cairo, in a critical condition, due to a sudden drop of blood pressure after she took a lot of medicine to ease a back problem.
She suffered the injury while filming a scene from her upcoming serial “Adam,” which is scheduled to air during Ramadan. Shuaib’s condition improved after the treatment. Her doctors advised her to rest for a few days before she continues acting.
