I talked with several patients and visitors and noticed their satisfaction over the services, the medical capabilities and the good treatment. During my tour through different sections of the city, I realized that the name “city” is not appropriate.

The health sector in our country has progressed significantly. Our hospitals have excellent equipment and qualified staff that make all of us feel proud. However, there remains a few anomalies. Once these are rectified, all complaints and discontent will be wiped out.

One of the biggest problems of the health sector in our country is, despite the huge funds spent on it, its image. Citizens still complain of things that caused pain and suffering years ago.

The phrase “no bed available” or the fact that patients who need immediate treatment are given an appointment after several months greatly harms the sector’s reputation. I have experienced a situation like this and realize how much suffering this can cause. It remains in the memory for many years, especially if the patient passed away while waiting for a bed.

Our country has succeeded to be a destination for those who need specialized medical care. Most visitors to our country take the opportunity to conduct medical checkups and undergo subsequent treatment.

We successfully conduct sophisticated operations in our hospitals. We do not need more studies or speeches; we need strong decisions to erase the phrase “no bed available” from our memories. Once this is achieved, the negative image will begin to change. All we need is a “bed” and quick treatment. I think it's a simple demand.
