Christina plays Hala, a Lebanese woman who decides to marry a non-Lebanese man. She then faces the problem of not being able to obtain citizenship for her child. Sawaya was chosen as “Top Lebanese Model” in 1999. She also beat off competition from 19 women to become Miss Lebanon 2001.
