The actress appears in one of the scenes wearing the uniform of a marriage official, the character she plays in the show.  She said she did not think this would spark anger among people.

Religious personalities criticized her appearance. In a statement to an Egyptian daily, Hanan said she had agreed with the producer to scrap her scenes as a sign of good faith.
