Although it is common for politicians and businessmen in Lebanon to receive death threats, the artist said she was frightened. The bodyguards are shadowing her movements and staying near her residence.

In a message on her Twitter account, she said: “I don’t have time to HATE people who HATE me because I’m too busy loving people who LOVE me.”
