- CAIRO: Tunisian singer Latifa announced that she is going to participate in the upcoming Tunisian elections in October.
- She said that she refused to participate in the past elections, because she knew the results were fixed.
She said that after the revolution, every Tunisian citizen would be able for the first time to participate in clean elections and in the political life. Latifa is planning a new song for the Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions.
