- RIYADH: Police in Riyadh have arrested two Yemenis, two Nigerians and five Saudis over the murder of a Saudi man found dead inside a pickup truck in Riyadh.
According to police, they were allegedly under the influence of drugs when they kidnapped and killed the victim, who was in his 40s. Police also discovered that the vehicle where the body was found was stolen.
Police were contacted by a 22-year-old Arab expatriate who discovered the body.
Detectives found that there were signs of injuries to the head, which indicated that the man did not die of natural causes. Police initially did not have enough information to continue with their investigation.
However, they eventually managed to identify the body, which later led to the nine suspects being arrested.
Police narrowed down their list of suspects based on the number of people the victim knew.
They have reportedly confessed to the murder and police are still investigating.
