- JEDDAH: Legendary Saudi singer Muhammad Abdu returned to the Kingdom late on Tuesday after spending three months in Paris recovering from a heart attack.
- The artist arrived in a private jet that landed at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
Large crowds of fans greeted him at the airport including Saudi singers Abadi Al-Jowhar and Rabeh Saqr and officials from Rotana Company. On arrival, Abdu thanked Prince Alwaleed bin Talal for taking care of his arrangements and told the fans that he had missed them a lot. Police escorted the singer out of the airport because of the huge crowd. Abdu confirmed reports that he had married a French woman of Algerian background and that she had arrived in Jeddah before him.
