- JEDDAH: Culture and Information Minister Abdul Aziz Khoja met with Muhammad Jouda, administrative director of Google International, and Abdul Rahman Tarabzouni, director for Arab region, here on Monday and discussed ways of expanding cooperation.
"We discussed prospects of developing cooperation with Google in the service of Islam and Muslims, especially the Saudi media," said Khoja. He said Saudi Arabian Television has been transmitting programs of its Qur'an and Hadith channels through YouTube.
Jouda said Saudi Television was one of the first Arab televisions to transmit its programs through YouTube. "The number of people watching the two channels increased to two million daily after they started transmitting on YouTube," he added.
