- JAZAN: Jazan Deputy Gov.
- Abdullah Al-Suwaid met with government officials on Monday to find out the reasons for the recent flashfloods that hit Kadma, a village in the region.
Al-Suwaid, accompanied by senior officials, visited the village and inspected the houses and shops that were damaged. He also explained the measures taken by the government departments to reduce the impact of the floods.
The deputy governor heard complaints and suggestions of the residents. Jazan Gov. Muhammad Al-Nasser had called for quick measures to repair the damages caused by the floods.
"Committees have been set up to assess the damages and the victims will be paid compensations," Al-Suwaid said.
