The firewalls being erected are one of the many protective measures that is being set up by the ministry, Al-Eissa said.

The minister added that the most advanced technology would be used to protect data in courts and other establishments under the Justice Ministry. These systems will also deter any kind of tampering or hacking at all levels.

The minister also hinted at the ministry’s plan to use fingerprinting for identification of women in courts and notary offices so that they need not bring people to vouch for them or reveal their faces for legal matters.

The minister also said the ministry has been constructing a number of court buildings with the aim of fast tracking court procedures.

On an earlier occasion Al-Eissa had said the ministry would speed up vacating real estate properties in order to issue land deeds quickly.
