The singer earlier denied in an Egyptian daily having refused to sing with Saudi actress Maysoon Abd Al-Aziz in the entertainment program “Duo Al-Mashaheer” (Duet with the stars) because of her Saudi origins.

Al-Wahab affirmed she never met Maysoon before and accused the actress of spreading rumors to gain publicity.
