- JEDDAH: Abdullatif Jameel Community Initiatives along with the Arabian Wings of Fine arts, held its first Saudi Exhibition of Contemporary Art here on Monday.
- The event dubbed Limited Edition 2011, carried the art works of more than 20 Saudi men and women artists.
“Limited Edition is the name of the work we have created, we feel that the name of the event is a sincere reflection of our work. Also it serves as a direct message, that indicates that this event is unique and also not easy to accomplish. In addition to all that, the technical and cultural entities of its elements are rare,” said Mohammed Bahrawi, chairman of Arabian Wings. He added, “This name as a reference to any work requires the availability of all the conditions and terms that make it rare. In simple words, this event is by professionals for professionals.”
Saudi artists contributing to the event are: Dia Aziz Dia, Hisham Benjabi, Saud Mahjoub, Mohammed Bahrawi, Najlaa Felemban, Ahmed Hussein, Mohammed Al-Rubat, Zuher Tolah, Mohammed Al Jad, Ehsan Burhan, Najwa Kurban, Ahmed Al-Qadi, Ahmad Al Ahmadi, Naim Al-Quraafi, Doaa Shaalan, Hanaa Banaama, Al-Anoud Al-Shaibi, Khaled Al-Ameer, Fahad Kholif, Saeed Kamhawi, Mohammed Thaqafi, Faisal Al-Khudaidi, Sultan Mendili, Saleh Al-Shehri.
