Shereen allegedly refused to sing with Maysoon during the shooting of the program “Celebrity Duets” in Beirut recently. According to Maysoon, Shereen got upset and threw the microphone to the ground when she heard she had to sing with Maysoon. She went out shouting that she did not sing with Saudis or with anyone from the Gulf.

Shereen, on the other hand, has denied the allegations saying that she would never oppose singing with someone from Saudi Arabia or any other Gulf country. She said that it would be illogical for her to act in such a manner, as she had previously presented an entire album in the Gulf dialect.
