Speaking at a press conference on the occasion, SGS President Zohair Nawab said SGS aimed to achieve greater transparency and workflow in line with the latest technological developments.

The SGC also aims to offer better service with the new solutions system, he said, adding that the new system would offer employment opportunities to 800 youths.

The project, which will improve SGS’s coordination with various departments, will be implemented in a year and the period of technological support is for two years.

The project will improve and update all administrative and financial systems in the SGS to suit international standards. The project will also enable SGS to offer a faster and more efficient service, he said.

He added that the move would also enable SGS to support the rapid developments achieved in the field of telecommunication and information technology and also to achieve the Kingdom’s target to covert itself to a knowledge-based society apart from implementing e-governance.
