Carrying the name “Dreams to Come True and Ambitions to be Realized,” the directory will list a number of services including social responsibility programs for companies and individuals, reservation of halls in the chamber, coordinating events, visual communications, and promotion of the trade sector in Jeddah, among others.

JCCI chairman Sheikh Saleh Kamel said the establishment of the directory aimed to improve the business and investment sector in Jeddah and other areas covered by the chamber’s services such as Allaith, Al-Qunfodah and Rabigh.

“The directory is also meant to develop the city of Jeddah in the economic, cultural, entertainment and tourism domains,” said Kamel

“The directory will also contribute to the development of the chamber’s financial resources and help promote the city in the areas of health, environment and education, in addition to helping investors easily recognize available investment opportunities.”

Kamel said the directory would list the chamber’s achievements and provide correct data for investors, researchers, visitors and residents of Jeddah.

Bassam Akhdar, member of the chamber’s board of directors and head of the committee to promote services to subscribers, said the directory took a long time to develop and added the committee studied all services in Jeddah with a view to enhancing them for the welfare of residents and visitors.

“This is the first such initiative of the committee and a step toward the provision of more services for citizens and expatriates,” he said.

Akhdar said the directory would be useful to subscribers, businessmen, local and foreign residents and the Jeddah community at large.

He said this directory would be issued annually.
