The program, entitled “Bloom to the full: A GD evening,” was conducted by Talent Teens in Aziziyah, Jeddah. It began with a motivating introduction by Latheef Parappurath who emphasized the necessity of cultivating reading habits. It was followed by a group discussion and a self-discovery session led by Maritheri.

The participants were taken on an inner journey through probing questions put to them by Maritheri, which encouraged them to discover their hidden talents and aptitudes. The program helped students reach clearer conclusions in selecting their future career.

The KAU professor also told the teens about the importance of time management and living their lives meaningfully.

He then enlightened them on their duties, especially toward parents.

He also spoke about the seven habits of highly delinquent teenagers, which was met with cries of dismay as some participants identified some of these habits as theirs and made up their minds to change into better individuals. The nearly four-hour-long session included a lot of puzzles and exciting anecdotes based on the theory of multiple intelligence.

The participants were very much impressed by the theme and mode of presentation and with one voice applauded Talent Teens and Maritheri for organizing such a wonderful program. It gave the participants deep insights as agreed by Ajish Zacharia. “What do you want to be remembered for was a true eye opener. It shall reverberate in our minds as it serves as an alert call in all walks of life,” he pointed out.

The sentiments of all the participants were echoed in the words of Sachin Suresh who said: "Today, I really learned something that makes real sense to me." The program wound up with a vote of thanks by Master Vaseem, the general secretary of Talent Teens, who said it was really a soul-searching event.
