The agreement includes construction of infrastructure, deploying communications services at these quarters to support STC’s endeavor toward modernization through innovative ideas based on quality and high speed, and providing customers with the best of services.

Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Qifari, STC’s VP for network sector, signed the deal on behalf of STC.

The first agreement concerned Jeddah’s 1,722,546 sq m planned Hamad Al-Mussa quarter, the second 176,000 sq m planned Saleh Bin Ladin quarter in Madinah and the third was co-signed with Abdulrahman Al-Rashid company, the developer of 66,769 sq m planned Al-Nur quarter in Madinah.

STC aims to carry out the infrastructure of communications services in these new planned quarters, in order to establish ideal places with no excavations and to meet the expectations of the developers as well as the dwellers in various regions of the Kingdom with the best of communications services.

STC provides new houses with its indoor fiber optics service to enable high speed Internet service at the households by interconnecting a house with modern and advanced fiber optics with record speeds, achieving thus an amazing move ahead and a great leap, in the broadband services in the Kingdom on one hand, and asserting its leadership as the sole provider of all broadband integrated services, indoors as well as outdoors, in addition to voice, visual calls and content services, on the other.
