Rezk Joma Rezk, BDC's financial and economic consultant, told Arab News that one of the main strategies of the center is to contribute to the building of skilled and experienced businessmen, and preparing them for their active participation participating in the country's development plans.

"The BDC, set up one year ago, is currently adopting a plan for attracting foreign investments to the local market, he said.

Rezk added that some of the local projects are facing financial problems and the center is trying to help solve them.

The center also maintains excellent relations with other centers operating within the Kingdom, such as Abdul Latif Jameel Center (Bab Rizk Jameel).

"We are also planning to bring project executives and potential investors under one roof for exchanging views on making their cooperation a success," he said.

Some of the businessmen who are launching new projects need technical and financial supports that are extended by the BDC.

"The center is also supporting local projects with a view to boosting the national economy, he said.
