JEDDAH: Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) Chairman Prince Sultan bin Salman visited the offices of Saudi Research and Publishing Company (SRPC) yesterday.
Arab News Editor in Chief Abdulwahab Al-Faiz and other SRPC officials received him. Prince Sultan was taken on a tour of Arab News and he was given a brief insight into the various facet of newspaper production. Al-Faiz highlighted the growing role of the new media and the increasing number of Arab News platforms through which news is being disseminated.
Prince Sultan emphasized the great role played by the Saudi media in presenting a clear picture of Saudi Arabia and its people, its culture and heritage and above all Islam. “The SCTA recognizes the media role in helping to develop the tourism sector,” the prince said.
