The 2-2 result  was not bad for Hilal since the match took place in Jeddah, home of Ittihad. The return match, however, is tomorrow to be held in Riyadh where the home team is Hilal. Who knows if the tables will turn this time?

For the past decade, these two teams have been dominating the Saudi   football scene. This year, however, both teams' performance dropped drastically especially for Ittihad, which didn't win any title.

The team played with three coaches this season alone which is too much. Not so different with Hilal, which   had 2 official coaches and an interim  coach for four matches. The difference is that Hilal had a little higher performance time this season and managed to at least win the Crown Prince Cup and also compete for the league championship before giving up in the end.

But even though one of them will win tomorrow, the road to the title won’t be that easy as they will meet the winner of Al-Ahli and Faisaly match, which will most probably be Ahli, which had a very good season this year.

Ahli and Ittihad know that they need to change almost everything for them to go back and compete as strong as they used to be.

As for league champion Al-Shabab, the  road to success is much easier as they will meet Al-Nasr  then  the winner between Al-Ittifaq and Fateh. I think Shabab will be a part of the finals this year and they will meet with either Hilal, Ittihad or Ahli. This is the last championship this year, make sure not to miss a thing!
