Harukazu Yamaguchi has replaced Humayun Murad as one of ORIX corporation’s representatives on the board of Saudi ORIX Leasing Company.

This follows ORIX Corporation’s request to Saudi ORIX Leasing Company to replace one of its representatives on the board, according to Tadawul website.

Saudi ORIX Leasing Company stated that it gave approval to its foreign shareholder ORIX Corporation’s request to replace one of its representatives on the board and accepted the resignation of Murad, a non-independent and non-executive, on Monday and announced the appointment of Yamaguchi, a non-independent and non-executive, as its new director.

Yamaguchi will complete the period of his predecessor till the end of the current term.

The resignation of Murad and the appointment of Yamaguchi, effective from Monday, will be presented to the next general assembly meeting for its ratification, the company stated.

The board of directors expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to Murad for his efforts and effective contribution during his tenure as a board member.

“The change of representative was due to routine changes in work assignments of employees within ORIX Corporation,” the announcement said.

Yamaguchi is a graduate in business administration from Hosei University, Japan. He joined ORIX in 1990 and since September 2012 working as executive vice president, Global Business and Alternative Investment Headquarters in ORIX Corporation, Tokyo.
