LG Electronics (LG) recently hosted its annual Ramadan iftar in Jeddah and Riyadh for orphans.

The event was held for Al-Bir charity organization in Jeddah and a similar one for orphans from Al-Insan charity in Riyadh.

The iftar was also celebrated to celebrate the resounding success of LG in 2013 and to strengthen its ties with media representatives.

The event included a speech accompanied by traditional Ramadan food and lots of activities, including rides, and school bags full of stationery for the orphans as part of LG’s social corporate responsibility.

“The media club members are very much part of our LG family, and we appreciate all their efforts to make our services and products known among Saudi customers,” said by John Lee, president of LG Electronics, Saudi Arabia.

Lee took the opportunity to express his gratitude to media representatives for their longstanding support for LG and gave a brief update on the company’s business locally and the company’s achievements.

He offered his best wishes to all concerned (LG product managers, media families and orphans) for the holy month of prayer, compassion and revival of Islam’s fundamental values of peace and tolerance.

LG’s top management executives, product managers and staff as well as media representatives and families in Jeddah and Riyadh attended the events.
