Kingdom’s decision to install surveillance cameras to monitor new mosques (Aug. 12) is understandably to increase vigilance in the wake of the unfortunate blast incidents inside mosques.

This is also to monitor imams’ speeches as also the general movements inside and outside a mosque, mostly the new ones. These are necessary steps, yet it is disturbing to even think that terrorists are targetting mosques and the people who bow their head before Allah Almighty.

And those who blast mosques are the ones who are ironically doing all these in the name of Islam. They are fake Muslims who follow ideologies, which are deviant. It is only to spread sedition and chaos in the society. — Siraj Ahmad, Alkhobar
