A tiger killed a 40-year-old Asian worker on an Alkhobar compound in Aziziah district on Thursday, the police said.

Lt. Col. Ziad Al-Ruqaiti, spokesman of the Eastern Province police, said that they received a call on Thursday saying that an Asian worker specializing in animal husbandry had died after a tiger attacked him at the zoo on the compound.

“The worker’s colleagues tried to rescue him but he died from injuries to his head and shoulder. The police went to the location and took the body to a hospital for an examination.”
